HMDD: Han Multiomics Deep-Phenotype Database

About HMDD

HMDD is established based on several large-scale multiomics cohorts among Han Chinese, aiming to provide key resources and visualization of the correlations among diverse omics data, phenotypes and chronic diseases.

There are several major aims for the HMDD:

1)To establish the largest database of gut microbiome among Han Chinese by incorporating various large-scale cohort studies across different regions, and visualize the relationship of gut microbiome with diet and human chronic diseases, such as cardiometabolic diseases.

2)To establish the genome-wide genotype-omics connection via GWAS analysis and provide xQTL resources among Han Chinese for the scientific community.

3)To provide resources of connections between diverse omics metrics among Han Chinese.

4)To provide resources of various aging omics biomarkers.

5)To provide resources of various pregnancy-related omics biomarkers.

Core cohort sources from Westlake Gut Project were used to establish the database:

GNHS: Guangzhou Nutrition and Health Study

CHNS: Chinese Health and Nutrition Survey

ZMSC: Zhejiang Metabolic Syndrome Cohort

THSBC: Tongji-Huaxi-Shuangliu Birth Cohort

WeBirth: Westlake Precision Birth Cohort
