This database shows the effects of statin use on molecular signatures in populations from Europe and East Asia as determined by Mendelian randomization analysis. There were 4907 circulating proteins, 40 blood metabolites, and 102 bacterial taxa in all. The effects on molecular phenotypes of genetically proxied statin use (one standard deviation decrease in LDL-cholesterol) are shown in the table.
